Hitman Movie (Trailer)

Ok, just saw this on YouTube... it's the movie based on one of the popular stealth games around - Hitman... The actor who will portray 47 (the lead character) is Timothy Olyphant (the bad guy on Bruce Willis' Die Hard 4.0).. If i'm not mistaken 47 on the pc and console game is already old (40 plus maybe), so maybe the movie's story is about his beginnings as a "hired assassin." Check this trailer:

Sony Pictures launches online video network

Sony Pictures will on Monday launch an online video network that seeks out and rewards new talent and enables videos to be uploaded in high definition.

Crackle represents a relaunch for the video-sharing site Grouper, bought by Sony for $65m last August in one of the biggest Web 2.0 acquisitions of a San Francisco Bay Area company.

Crackle becomes part of an increasingly crowded video sector, where high-quality content can be a differentiator. The Sausalito-based company also sees itself seizing on a trend of content creators becoming more professional and seeking mainstream acceptance.

The website will offer a slate of themed channels for users to upload material. They include Wet Paint, an edgy animation channel, Shorts, highlighting short films, and High Wire, a stand-up comedy channel.

The best High Wire submissions can win a chance to perform at the well-known Improv comedy clubs, while Shorts uploaders could win a studio development deal and get the chance to pitch feature film ideas to Columbia Pictures executives.

Animation winners could see their work being theatrically released, making them eligible for Oscars.

Videos will be encoded and shown in higher than normal quality in widescreen format, with high-definition uploads also enabled.

What's with the "i" on Apple's product names?

After reading soooo many news about the latest craze to hit US- Apple's iPhone... i'm curious now as to why Jobs and his company named their latest products and services with the "i" in the beggining... iMac, iPhoto, iLife, iPod, iTunes, iPen, iPhone and iHavenoideawhatelsethereis... I can understand the "e"+something like e-commerce, e-living, e-banking - it simply means electronic... but what's with the "i"? hmmm... eniweys if you're not familiar what the iPhone is watch this funny video review by Pogue of New York Times.

Meet the real TiVo of the Web

Never mind YouTube. An application just launched by Dmitry Shapiro, a serial peer-to-peer software entrepreneur, allows you to watch not only everything on YouTube but every piece of free video on the Web.

Shapiro is the founder and CEO of Veoh, already the 10th most popular video-sharing site in the country, according to Nielsen/NetRatings, with content from CBS, Paramount, PBS, and 20,000 other sources. Veoh TV is a free video browser, set to launch in late June, that will grab, store, and sort just about everything out there -- whether it's on NBC.com, CNN.com, or even AskANinja.com. (CNN.com, CNNMoney.com, and Business 2.0 are owned by Time Warner.

Think of Veoh TV as TiVo for the Internet, with a similar DVR-style interface. You can search for and subscribe to shows and then save many of those video streams as downloads to watch later. (Naturally, you also get any ads embedded in those videos.)

In short, it looks remarkably like TV, and you can control it with a standard remote. (For that you'll need a PC with an infrared port or an extra plug-in device.) "The video-viewing experience should be more akin to watching TV than surfing the Web," says Shapiro, who plans to make money by placing his own ads between shows. His recommendation engine will also serve up targeted ads and other shows you might like.

Veoh TV's main competitor is Joost, the Internet-only TV service started by the founders of Skype. But unlike Veoh TV, Joost is a closed system: It shows only videos from producers with which it has licensing deals. Veoh TV also shows clips uploaded by consumers, à la YouTube, which could get the company into hot water with major media companies.

Still, the more Veoh TV can become the go-to application for online video, the more of a player it can be in the $70 billion market for TV commercials quickly moving to the Web.

New RealPlayer simplifies capturing video off the Web

I've always enjoy watching videos online - from YouTube to Dailymotion, but of course with poor connection you can't expect videos to run smoothly, they always stop and pause at some point. That's why I have to save them using some online video downloader, and then i have to convert these flv files to avi so they can be played by media player off line. But now there's a better and easier way to watch your favorite online videos... thanks to RealPlayer's latest version.

On Tuesday, with the "beta" arrival of the latest RealPlayer software, RealNetworks hopes to simplify things. RealPlayer 11 is billed as the first media player to let you record and download videos from thousands of websites with a single click. The free software was unveiled this month at the D: All Things Digital conference in Carlsbad, Calif.

The pre-release version is still buggy. But for the most part, the program's chief bragging point — making it a cinch for you to capture unprotected video — works as promised. And RealPlayer 11 is less bloated and not as intrusive as earlier versions of the software.

After installing the software, a "Download This Video" button pops up whenever you move your mouse pointer over a video anywhere in cyberspace. Just click on the button to start downloading clips. It's as simple as that; you do not have to separately launch the new RealPlayer.

What's more, you can choose to download a clip at any point during the video, and the scene will be captured from the start. The download will proceed in the background even if you pause or stop watching. And you can download more than one video at the same time.

You can watch videos full-screen or burn copies to a disc. You'll have to spring for a $29.99 RealPlayer Plus version to burn to a DVD; the free version lets you burn videos to a CD, where storage is more limited. The Plus version sports advanced video controls, among other features.

But still there are restrictions with RealPlayer 11. You can't just download any video out there. Clips that are embedded with digital rights management (DRM) copy restrictions cannot be saved. Viewers will see a "Video Cannot Be Downloaded" message if a certain movie is DRM embedded.

Indy battle - Matt Hardy vs AJ Styles

A must see match between these two talented wrestlers... great match, way better than Jeff's TNA debut against Styles. Happened at ICW (International Wrestling Cartel) on July 29, 2005... the time when Matt is having issues with WWE.

Jeff Hardy @ ROH's Death Before Dishonor 2003

After leaving the WWF/E, Hardy took a whole year off of wrestling to concentrate on motocross and finish his motocross track.

Jeff then returned to wrestling and performed with the Ring of Honor. Jeff first appeared at ROH's 2003 show, Death Before Dishonor, under his "Will O' the Wisp" gimmick, wearing a mask and trench coat. Jeff was quickly unmasked and lost his jacket, wearing attire similar to that he wore in WWE. Jeff was booed and heckled before, during, and after the match by the ROH audience (with the exception of some screaming ladies), the crowd chanted "We want Matt!" and "You got fired!" during his match with Joey Matthews and Krazy K, which Jeff won.

TIT(Terri Invitational Tournament)

No Mercy 1999 - $100,000 Ladder Match

this is the first ever tag team ladder match in wrestling, participants were Edge and Christian against The Brood (Matt and Jeff Hardy) fighting for $100,000 and the managerial services of Terri Runnels, I think this is the first time Jeff did his signature Leapfrog - (Positioned at the top rope or on another ladder, Jeff Hardy performs a Guillotine leg drop after leapfrogging over a ladder).
