Is 13 the lucky number for Ocean and his crew?

Since i can't think of anything else to write today, I decided to make my own personal review of this movie i just watched yesterday - Ocean's 13. So let's head first with the plot:

The last time we saw Danny Ocean's crew, they were paying back ruthless casino mogul Terry Benedict after stealing millions from him. However, it's been a while since they've come back together, which is all about to change. When one of their own, Reuben Tishkoff builds a hotel with known casino owner Willy Bank, the last thing he ever wanted was to get cut out of the deal personally by the loathsome Bank. Bank's attitude even goes so far as to finding the amusement in Tishkoff's misfortune when the double crossing lands Reuben in the hospital because of a heart attack. However, Danny and his crew won't stand for Bank and what he's done to a friend. Uniting with their old enemy Benedict, who himself has a vendetta against Bank, the crew is out to pull off a major plan. One that will unfold on the night Bank's newest hot spot opens up, when the crew is out to bankrupt one of the city's most despised businessmen. But they're not in this for the money, but for the revenge.

Okay, some say this is the worst of the three Ocean's films... others say it's the best compared to the first 2 films. In my opinion... this is much better than 2004's Ocean's 12... BUT (and that's one big BUT), it's still not as good as 2001's Ocean's 11. First thing the audience will notice is the exclusion of the two main ladies from the previous movies - Julia Roberts and Zeta-Jones. A bit surprise though, maybe since they hired Al Pacino, it will be very expensive if they also have Julia & Catherine... but still the story ran well even without them, the men just concentrating on the big score. Speaking of the story, for me this movie is more straight compared to the previous films which were "confusingly complicated" wherein it requires them to track back the events just for the viewers to know what really happened. It's also a good thing for me personally, because of that i didn't have to watch the movie twice. Clooney, Pitt and the rest like before are still funny, gags well done, and the dialogs superb, most noticeable were the disguises they made. Terry Benedict is back but this time he joins the crew, just to put Bank's business down. It's nice to see Andy Garcia with Al Pacino in one part of the film... i just hoped they have more lines (funny lines) to make one memorable scene. French thief François Toulour is also back, same with Techy guy Roman Nagel... but with short appearances.

So is 13 the lucky number for Ocean and his crew? for me yes... Ocean's 13 is a big comeback for the guys after their disastrous 2nd film. If you haven't seen this movie yet go ahead and watch it. Before the Transformers arrive heh heh...
